The Website of Dobwalls Parish Council
Welcome to our new website. We hope you enjoy it.
Dobwalls is a rural parish in South East Cornwall, just west of the town of Liskeard. The village of Dobwalls was once a major traffic bottleneck for locals and holidaymakers in the summer months, but the A38 dual carriageway bypass to the north has made the world of difference.
The village and parish, which includes the hamlet of Doublebois, have lots to offer. The list is endless – convenience store, antiques shop, farm shop and café, memorial hall which hosts numerous events every week, primary school, church, pub, hairdressers, football, snooker and gardening clubs, car dealership, holiday park, golf course, business parks, play parks and open spaces including the new Dobwalls Jubilee Community Field marking the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
This website provides you with details of how the council works and the decisions it makes and also seeks to reflect the vibrant community spirit of the village and parish. The site will also direct you to links to other websites for further information.
Our councillors and clerk and their email addresses are listed and they are happy to talk, listen and give advice on matters relating to the parish.
